Greg Alcorn – Co-Founder, CEO & President
Greg shapes Global e-Connect's mission to be the worlds leading agency management firm focused on call-center outsourcing, contact desk and help desk functions. He is a visionary to Global e-Connect's strategic planning, execution and alliances. Greg is dedicated to pioneering revolutionary methods of agency management for Global e-Connect and its clients.
Greg brings over 15 years of executive leadership experience to Global e-Connect. He is the former president and owner of Household Insurance Group, which made its mark as a leading Customer Relationship Manager for the insurance industry.
For 10 years, Greg was president and a shareholder of SOMAR, one of the country's largest telesales marketing agencies. Greg led SOMAR during its 5-year growth from 200 to 2000 employees, and managed its 1996 acquisition by Telespectrum Worldwide (NASDAQ: TLSP).
Greg received his Masters degree in Business Adminstration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Catawba College.
Ramesh Anand – Co-Founder & COO
Ramesh is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day to day operations on behalf of Global e-Connect clients. Ramesh will focus on ensuring quality of program execution and maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering world class solutions to Global e-Connect Clients.
With over 15 years of experience in the software industry, Ramesh has worked with a number of Fortune 500 Companies. Prior to joining Global e-Connect Ramesh was the Director of Sales Support Western Region for edocs corporation where he was responsible for the day-to-day sales support operations, activities and management of the pre-sales support organization for the Western half of North America.
Prior to joining edocs, Ramesh was an Application Engineering Manager for Rubric (acquired by Broadbase Software NASDAQ: BBSW) where he was responsible for pre-sales activities in the Mid-West region. In this role he successfully positioned Rubrics E-Marketing solution to .COM and Fortune 500 companies such as Citrix Systems and Bristol Myers Squibb.
Previously, Ramesh was a Technical Account Manager at Siebel Systems (NASDAQ: SEBL). Prior to Siebel, Mr. Anand spent three years at Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) in the professional services and pre-sales organizations supporting Oracle Financial and Manufacturing Applications. In his final year at Oracle he managed the Applied Technology SWAT Team for the Americas.
Ramesh received his Master of Management Studies degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.
Janet Butler – Managing Director Client Services
Janets expertise in direct marketing and customer service programs is core to Global e-Connect's knowledge base. Focussing on business development and agency management, she provides clients with end-to-end expert execution of their customer interaction programs.
Janet has spent the past 10 years in the direct marketing industry where her primary focus has been on financial services and telecommunications projects. Her wealth of experience also includes a wide range of projects covering both BtoB and BtoC campaigns.
Janet was most recently a Managing Director with Telespectrum Worldwide, Inc (NASDAQ: TLSP), the 7th largest telemarketing firm in the United States. During her 7-year tenure with Telespectrum, Janet held a variety of positions in both operations and client services. Janet participated in the launch of three credit card initiatives with Discover Card. Janet also played an intregal role in a partnership between Telespectrum and Ameritech (SBC Communications) in which Telespectrum provided both customer service and inbound sales support for Ameritech. This was a first initiative of its kind for both parties.
Janet recently developed a process and product plan for e-mail marketing that provides for integrated communications with customers and prospects across multiple touchpoints. This innovation and creativity, coupled with her experience and dedication to the details, makes Janet uniquely qualified to manage teleservices agencies for Global e-Connects clients.
Ron Rowan - Managing Editor
Ron provides multiple talents and values to Global e-Connect clients. His 20 years of Teleservice experience include operational, client service and data management roles. Ron’s program and call center management experience and leadership style insure flawless program execution.
Prior to GeC, Ron was a Managing Director with TeleSpectrum Worldwide, Inc., the 7th largest telemarketing firm in the United States. Ron provided innovative, profitable solutions to FORTUNE 500 financial and insurance clients. His clients enjoy great success utilizing his detailed systems expertise to reduce marketing cost and increase customer satisfaction. His expertise includes the ability to integrated outbound/internet programs, create data-warehousing & data mining solutions, and manage multi-channel customer acquisition campaigns.
Prior to joining TeleSpectrum, Ron spent 14 years with Avco Insurance Services in a regional call center operation managing numerous inbound and outbound call activities for financial institutions. He was responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to the clients’ customers, developing and managing an escrow processing function and developing revenue through the company’s managing general agent population.

Rick Johnson - Managing Editor Operations/International
Rick presents an extensive Operational background to the GeC Team. Having been involved in the industry for over 10 years, Rick provides cross-functional expertise in Operations and Account Management with diversified experience in the Call Center industry. Rick’s experience of running call centers, program management, management development and process improvement compliments GeC’s overall strength to assist our clients and partners in achieving success.
Rick previously spent the last 5 years with Telespectrum Worldwide, Inc., the 7th largest telemarketing firm in the United States. Rick most recently functioned in the capacity of Regional Director of Operations consisting of 4 call centers of 840 fully integrated stations. His primary responsibility was to develop management personnel to ensure overall client satisfaction, thus exceeding regional budgetary expectations. Rick provided a solid understanding of project management for B to B and B to C marketing strategies of a diverse portfolio of clients.
Prior to joining Telespectrum, Rick spent over 2 years with Aegis Communications Group, Inc. Rick managed an integrated outbound/inbound Winback and Acquisition program for AT&T. While at Aegis Communications, Rick also worked in the capacity of Business Analysis Manager.
